Presenter Biographies

Nick Birdseye – Strategic Partner Development Director – Having joined Legal & General in 2012 Nick works with existing and new Strategic Partners to development Retirement Lending distribution and advice opportunities and to help those businesses broaden their customer propositions. He has a deep understanding of delivering advice to both Retirement Mortgage and Wealth Management customers having led National Advice Distribution networks at both L&G and Aviva. In addition to significant IFA sector and Direct to Consumer experience, Nick has worked closely with Bank and Building Society partners and understands the challenges of meeting customer needs in these sectors. Prior to L&G, Nick had 18 years with Aviva.

Jane Netting, partner at Wrigleys LLP

Jane qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and deals with all areas of private client work, including will drafting, tax and estate planning, the administration of estates and the preparation and registration of powers of attorney.

Jane has a particular interest in Court of Protection work, including Deputyships, Statutory Wills, and tax planning/gift related applications.

Daniel Cooil, solicitor at Wrigleys LLP

Daniel qualified as a solicitor in 2019 and deals with all areas of private client work, including will drafting, with an emphasis in capital tax and estate planning for individuals and families.
