Speaker Biograph
Molly-May Smith (she/her) is the North West Manager at Show Racism the Red Card, a national anti-racist educational charity which delivers programmes and workshops to adults and young people in schools and workplaces across the UK.
She is also a lead youth activist at Amnesty International UK; sits on the national executive for a Black-led trade union; and has a Masters in Politics.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Understand the barrier to equality and the role of Unconscious Bias;
- Better understand what racism is and its impact on individuals and the society;
- Recognise and reflect on the power of language.
