About the Session

This session provides an introduction to specialist textile restoration within the insurance claims process. It will cover how restoration can be used as a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to replacement, common challenges and misconceptions, and how improved handling of contents can lead to better customer outcomes and reduced complaints.

  • Understanding what textile restoration is and how it differs from standard cleaning or replacement
  • Learning how textiles are affected by common losses such as fire, smoke, water and contamination
  • Identify when textiles can be restored rather than replaced within an insurance claim
  • Understand the role of specialist textile restoration providers in the claims process

Aaron is the National Business Development Manager at CRDN working closely with insurers and contractors across the UK. He specialises in developing efficient, scalable solutions within the restoration sector and has played a key role in improving processes and outcomes for contents claims.
