Classic Touring With Ward Goodman

Ward Goodman is sponsoring and taking part in the Weymouth Vehicle Preservation Society’s Dorset Tour 2019 which is now in its 31st year.

The event takes place on Sunday May 26th, 9am to 4pm, with vintage vehicles departing from Lodmoor Country Park, Weymouth. The route is through the stunning Dorset countryside featuring points of interest and places where participants can stop and enjoy lunch, have a picnic or take in the sight-seeing. It will finish back at Lodmoor by 3pm for the static display and judging by the Mayor of Weymouth.

Ian Rodd, Managing Director, Ward Goodman, said: “We are delighted to join classic and vintage vehicle owners and fans as they set off across the country, in this popular annual event, which has been running for three decades and has raised over £80,000 during this time, contributing to funds of local charities such as this year’s beneficiary Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.”

Ward Goodman client John White, owner of M J White Motor Engineers of Wareham is an enthusiastic expert in the restoration and maintenance of vintage and classic vehicles. John is delighted to promote events that showcase the benefits of owning and enjoying great cars such as his 1934 Sunbeam Speed 20 seen here with Ian Rodd with his 1969 MG Midget.
