6:00 pm – 7:00 pm (UK time)

The IIB has teamed up with one of Bristol's leading international law business to deliver an exciting seminar and networking event.

We will begin the session with an introduction to DAC Beachcroft.

After which Sarah Crowther and Clare Hughes-Williams will present on the topic of ESG by exploring what ESG is and what impact it may have on insurance and insurers' clients.

This presentation will provide an overview of the following:

  1. What issues have led the Law Society to issue its note to the solicitors profession confirming that firms can decline to act for polluters and what is the impact of this development?
  2. We will examine what the "s" of ESG means for professional services firms and why it is key to amongst other things reducing the exposure to claims and ensuring a happy healthy work force
  3. Why is strong governance a must have for professional services firms and what are the consequences including regulatory implications of failing to implement good governance?

Following the hour long seminar, DAC Beachcroft and the IIB will be hosting a networking event where drinks and food will be provided.

This is great opportunity to meet the speakers.
