Bristol ARC Volunteering Day
In honour of our previous President's nominated charity, we have arranged a one-off volunteering day with Bristol ARC.
We have just 3 available spaces to offer to our members, who will join with our council volunteers for this opportunity. This will operate on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that the day will consist primarily of outdoor physical activity, such as painting fences, weeding, planting, site tidying etc. You will need to dress appropriately for the weather, and be comfortable with taking part in such activities.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 9.30am arrive & welcome, introduction to the charity (Admin building)
- 10.15am: start volunteering tasks – Animal Home
- 12 – 1pm lunch (to match the Animal Home team schedule) can be on site or off site
- 1 – 2pm Potential for cat socialisation sessions (e.g. ½ hour for 2 people at a time)
- 2 – 4pm continue volunteer tasks at the Animal Home
- 4pm –Session ends
Parking is available on site.
