When you speak to Matthew about financial planning, his passion and enthusiasm are obvious. Having started life as a personal banker, Matthew soon discovered the calling to financial planning and has never looked back.

Matthew believes that financial planning has the power to not only transform the finances, but also the lives of clients.

An avid studier, Matthew has an enviable list of qualifications in the financial planning sector earned over nearly a decade. He has recently completed a masters programme in Financial Planning & Business Management at Manchester Metropolitan University and is a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager.

Matthew loves to support the profession and sits on the committee of the Essex branch of the Personal Finance Society in his capacity as New Professionals Officer.

Prior to co-founding Buckingham Gate, Matthew held positions at Wesleyan and Lloyds bank.
