Your local institute

Hello Edinburgh! 

I am extremely proud & delighted to be elected your President of the Edinburgh Local Institute for the CII, and is one of the greatest honours in my 22 year Insurance career so far. 

One of my main focuses during my Presidency is to try and engage with the next generation of insurance professionals. We will by looking to work to deliver education “insight” days in local schools, colleges and University’s to help show them there is more than meets the eye in our industry, and provide them to pathways into the industry. On top of this, I am looking to engage with local companies, not matter how big or small, to see if we can build on work experience offers & apprenticeships to build for the future.

We aim to continue our members with a variety of events throughout the year with a mix of webinars, some hybrid and face to face events. We will also continue  social events which will include the Golf Day, Annual Quiz night and the highlight of year, the Annual Dinner, to be held this year in May.
