The aim of the session is to share adviser best practice on Income Drawdown and retirement advice.

Learning objectives:

At the end of the session attendees will be able to:

  • Identify the lessons we can learn from the FCA DB guidance for drawdown advice
  • Demonstrate effective use of cashflow modelling to demonstrate client understanding
  • Explain the risks with Drawdown & how to effectively document and deal with them as part of a compliant advice process

Presenter: Colin Simmons

Colin has over 20 years experience working in the pensions and retirement market & represents Prudential at various conferences.

He has extensive knowledge of investments and pensions and is a fellow of the personal finance society, holds the investment management certificate and is also Chairman of the Thames Valley PFS region.
