The session will cover the key considerations for annual allowance, lifetime allowance, tax relief, carry forward and money purchase annual allowance.

  • Understand the key pension related reliefs and allowances
  • Know what the limits are for the current/future tax year
  • Demonstrate the benefits of these and how and when they work

Presenter: Gareth Davies, Specialist Pensions Development Manager at Scottish Widows

Gareth Davies is a Specialist Pensions Development Manager at Scottish Widows dealing with technical and legislative aspects of both corporate and individual pensions.

Gareth has over 30 years’ experience in the life and pensions industry working for major product providers, and over 15 years’ experiences as a pensions specialist.

Gareth regularly speaks at industry and trade events, and he is a chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
