Face to face, PFS breakfast session - Catering for sustainable clients in the age of Consumer Duty-EQ Investors
We are delighted to welcome Louisiana Salge of EQ for this face to face training workshop.
This face to face presentation will aim to provide an overview of how to cater for sustainable clients in respect of Consumer Duty, including why you need to investigate any client’s sustainable preferences.
Louisiana will start by exploring the different approaches to sustainable investing and show how a one-size-fits-all approach to sustainable investing may not meet the requirements under Consumer Duty.
She will then give practical suggestions to help you identify the sustainable solutions and providers that may deliver: fit for purpose products, fair value, enabled consumer understanding and support.
This presentation will set you up to help deliver good client outcomes, across financial and sustainable objectives.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to understand:
Be able to understand and discuss the different approaches to sustainable investing across the “Spectrum of Capital”, including stewardship.
Be able to understand and discuss how consumer duty requirements can be best met for sustainable clients.
Be able to understand the importance of sustainability reporting and transparency in delivering client education and support
