The Guildford CII Young Professionals (YP) group is aimed at members under 35 from across the industry and a variety of disciplines. We are here to help you develop your professional and social networks with likeminded individuals from the local region. It’s also perfect for helping you find your feet if you are new to the industry, or the area in general.
We run CPD and social events throughout the year tailored to meet the needs of young professionals and we’d love for you to come along. We announce all events and webinars through emails, our Linked-In Group and on our website, so make sure that you have your data protection preferences set to receive electronic communications from your local institute. You might also want to check that you have your local institute set to Guildford, especially if you have joined us from another region.

Young Leaders Programme
In 2019 we launched our Young Leaders Programme which aimed to bring together young professionals from across the industry; the programme consisted of five workshops over the year as well as a group project and coursework. It aims to help young professionals in both smaller and larger companies with a desire to progress, to build a network across the industry and develop key leadership skills. Further to the success of the inaugural programme, we are planning on organising another programme beginning in Q4 2020 so please look out for emails with further details.
Young Professional of the Year
Every year we award a Guildford CII/PFS member that has made great strides in their career through outstanding personal and professional development. The winner receives a prize presented at the Annual Dinner and will become an integral part of the Young Professionals Committee in Guildford. Please look out for emails towards the end of the year to announce when nominations are open.
