New CII guidance sets benchmark for managing vulnerability across insurance and personal finance
At a press event in central London this morning, the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) announced the launch of a landmark guide to help insurance and personal finance firms to better identify, support, and deliver fair outcomes for customers in vulnerable circumstances.

The Insurance Charity Golf Day - book your place today
The Insurance Charity golf day will take place on 14 October at The Nottinghamshire club, voted The East Midland's best golf venue. Located six miles from Nottingham station and 18 miles from East Midlands Airport, attendees will be playing on the prestigious 18-hole Championship course.

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) honoured its most dedicated members during the Local Institute Volunteer Awards at the Network Conference 2025.
President's Message
Welcome to The Insurance Institute of Hull.
I am proud to be appointed as President of The Insurance Institute of Hull once again after being President in 2009. The Institute has a rich legacy dating back 109 years and I am delighted to be a part of it.
I look forward to working with Council and all our Members over the next 24 months and also continuing the tremendous work done by Elaine, the outgoing President and all other members of the outgoing council.
Most CPD events are held by online and this is probably going to continue this way, there will be certain face to face social gathering so watch out for emails about these.
