Ipswich Speakers, 05 November 2026 - 7:30pm – 9:30pm | In person

Have you ever attended a course to improve your presentation skills? Normally, these last a few hours or a few days and you quickly forget what you learnt in that short space of time.

Ipswich Speakers holds a monthly meeting where you can practice your public speaking in a friendly environment. Ipswich Speakers is a separate organisation to the CII Council; however CII insurance and finance members are encouraged to attend their events.

By attending, you get to try an “on the spot” two-minute topic! Ipswich Speakers will also be holding an educational session on putting what they call “the Showpiece” speech, involving the four key building blocks of any speech. (Construction, conviction, gestures and body language, using your voice)

And, should you wish to sign up and attend monthly, you get the opportunity to undertake the Certificate in Public Speaking at your pace and learn these key building blocks to become a better speaker.

Attendance is free for this night.
