Be a champion - Wellbeing & finding fulfilment

Wednesday 29 April, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The Met Hotel
Jamie Peacock MBE
CPD

In a world that often prioritises productivity and achievement, it is easy to overlook the foundations that allow us to thrive. This seminar offers a grounded, evidence‑informed exploration of wellbeing and fulfilment, not as abstract concepts, but as practical elements that shape our daily lives, our performance, and our long‑term satisfaction.

Participants will be guided through the core components of personal wellbeing, the habits that sustain it, and the mindset shifts that enable a more fulfilling way of living and working. The session is designed to provide clarity, challenge assumptions, and equip attendees with meaningful, actionable strategies.

Event: Jamie Peacock Presentation and Networking
Time: Join us from 3pm, with Jamie’s talk beginning at 3:30pm. The session will last around an hour, after which we’ll continue with some networking over drinks at Brew Society, only a short three‑minute walk. Jamie will be coming along too.

Learning Objectives:
  • Understand the foundations of wellbeing: Recognise how sleep, physical activity, and healthy eating directly impact energy, performance, mental health, and resilience.
  • How to adopt small, consistent habit changes: Learn that sustainable wellbeing comes from simple daily actions rather than drastic changes.
  • Redefine fulfilment beyond achievement: Challenge the “arrival fallacy” and understand that fulfilment comes from the ongoing process of living well, not just reaching goals.
  • How to build fulfilment through daily practices: Apply kindness, gratitude, and being present to improve relationships, perspective, and overall life satisfaction.
  • How to create intentional, meaningful experiences: Plan and prioritise time in the right environment, with the right people, doing the right activities, supported by strong personal commitment.
