Meet our New Insurance Charities Representative - Janice Fielding

Hi, my name is Janice Fielding and I am the newly elected representative for The Insurance Charities on the Insurance & Personal Finance Institute of Leicester.

The Insurance Charities provides support for current and former insurance employees and dependants. It appears to be the best kept secret despite being around for 120 years and it is my mission to raise awareness of this fantastic charity and highlight the important work that they do.

We all go through tough times in our lives but some suffer more hardship than others. The Insurance Charities provides financial and practical support for those experiencing difficult life events: ill health, depression, financial problems, disability, or domestic abuse . The Insurance Charities is also an official Dementia Connect referral partner. Dementia Connect offer a free personalised support service for anyone with dementia, their carers, family and friends.

At this precise moment in time I don’t want any donations ( an unusual declaration from a charity ), what I would like is for you to stop and take a moment to consider whether you, your current colleagues, past colleagues or their dependants could benefit from support at this moment in time.
