CPD and Wine Tasting

As business processes and decision-making become more automated, a question arises as to what extent we still need a human in the loop. Exactly the same trend is occurring in winemaking, with consumers moving towards low human intervention wines (organic / biodynamic). In other words, there is a trend towards less human involvement in winemaking and in insurance and financial services.  What can thousands of years of winemaking teach us about to what extent humans need to remain in the loop?
