Young Members Ball 2025

We look forward to inviting you to the Insurance Institute of Manchester Young Members' Ball 2025!

The event will take place on Thursday 1st May at Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel.
Join us for an evening of music, food and networking.

Event Details

Drinks Reception starts at 6pm

3 Course Meal - Menu Choices as follows: 

Starters:

• Pressed ham hock, celeriac remoulade, sourdough toast
• Beetroot salad, orange gel, candied walnuts, tomato salsa (VV)

Mains:

• Chicken supreme, fondant potato, parsnip purée, chantenay carrots, tenderstem broccoli, red wine sauce
• Twice baked potato, cheese & leeks, tenderstem broccoli (V)

Desserts:

• Sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce, clotted cream ice cream

Evening Entertainment: speeches from the Charity representative, a guest speaker, a Musician and DJ. 

Dress Code

The Dress Code this year will be formal wear with a pop of colour, as the theme is Bright for Sight for our chosen charity: Henshaws Society for Blind People. 

These can be purchased directly with the Hotel. We highly recommend that you purchase drinks packages ahead of the event, as table service will not be available throughout the evening.

The deadline for pre-ordering drinks packages is 18^th April.

Charity

This year the chosen charity for the Insurance Institute of Manchester is Henshaws Society for Blind People.

Henshaws is a charity that has been helping people living with sight loss and a range of disabilities for over 180 years. Henshaws aims are to help reduce social isolation and increase independence through empowering disabled people to go beyond expectations and achieve their ambitions.

• 30 days’ notice is required to accept cancellation and to receive a full refund. Payment will still be due in full for cancellations received outside of this period.
• Strobe lighting might be used by the venue, depending upon the event.
• The company booking the table / tickets are responsible for all charges billed to their table.
• The booking organisation is responsible for the behaviour of their guests.
