In “Managing Stress-Building Resilience” we gain a deeper understanding of the impact of stress from a whole-person health perspective.

Guest speaker Clare, will show us how understanding, and harnessing how we breathe can have significant impact on stress. Following 4 simple principles, and in as little as 60 seconds, we can regulate our nervous system, transforming how we respond physically and emotionally to challenges. Giving us simple tools that fit easily into the busiest of lives both in and out of work.

Learning Objectives:

  • We explore the link between physical health and stress, focusing on the importance of sleep, nutrition, and movement
  • Learn to recognise and regulate emotions, strengthening how we respond.
  • Delve into social health, relationships, and setting boundaries, without the guilt.
  • Discuss resilience, understanding, developing, and harnessing it
  • Managing stress in the workplace and recognising signs of negative stress in others.
  • Exploring practical stress management techniques that fit easily into the day and developing a stress management plan.
  • Enjoy food to fit the theme.

A summary of the speakers:

Lisa Kempster

Prior to retraining as a Health Coach and setting up Best You in early 2022, Lisa spent 15 years working in the insurance sector, working with businesses from family-owned independents to global organisations. She now works with business and individuals, combining her corporate experience with health coaching expertise, helping clients navigate the challenges of everyday life, stress, and busy schedules that can get in the way of our health and wellbeing.

Lisa believes in taking a holistic, or whole person approach, and that there is no “one size fits all” solution. Whether she’s supporting someone one to one, or delivering to a room full of people, she focuses on small, sustainable changes that fit into real life, and brings warmth, and down to earth practicality to her sessions. Her workshops are designed to help people feel encouraged, not overwhelmed, and to leave with tools they can use straight away to feel better, boost their energy, and take back control of their health.

Clare Pritchard

Clare is a somatic stress and breathwork coach who helps people move out of survival mode and into states of calm, clarity, and steady energy.

Her approach is grounded in simple, sciencebacked nervous system regulation: when the body feels safe, people think more clearly, sleep better and function more effectively; at work and in life.

Her path into this field wasn’t planned. Years ago, she walked into what she thought was a meditation class and found herself in a breathwork session instead, a twist of fate that reshaped her life and career.

Clare combines practical breathwork, nervous system education and coaching to create accessible, resultsfocused sessions. Her work supports resilience, emotional regulation and a more grounded, confident way of operating under pressure.
