Lloyd's of London
Networking

We are delighted to announce we are offering our members the opportunity to join us for a guided tour around the prestigious Lloyd's of London building.

The day will include a general talk on the history of Lloyd's, the market - its operation and structure, how business is placed, globalisation and distribution regulation, the Lloyd's capital base and in the world market, plus a Q&A session along with a tour of the broking floor.

We will then take attendees for some refreshments overlooking some iconic city landmarks.

Learning objectives:

Attendees on the introductory tour of Lloyd's will gain:

  • an understanding of the structure and role of Lloyd's;
  • how business is transacted within it; and
  • its role in the UK and global insurance market place.

Dress Code: Suits or smart jackets, trousers and ties for men; smart business style for women.  Jeans, trainers and t-shirts are not acceptable.  Lloyd's reserves the right to refuse admission to anybody not complying to this requirement.

Visitors are requested not to eat, drink or take photographs using flash.  The privacy of the Market users must be respected at all times.
