CPD Webinar: An Introduction to Marine Cargo Insurance
Have you ever wondered why cargo insurance should be an option for client’s who move goods – nationally or internationally even if they use couriers or hauliers ?
Have you kept yourself awake at night trying to remember the different Incoterms ?
What about explaining the difference between ICC ‘A’ and ICC ‘C’ ?
Despite marine insurance being one of the oldest classes of business, for many in our profession it is not something they come across on a regular basis.
If you want to know the answer to these questions and probably many more then this is the session for you.
This one-hour webinar provided by Alan Hornby is Part 1 of 3 of the webinar series on Marin Cargo Insurance. This session is aimed at those new to insurance or who want to refresh their knowledge of this important but often overlooked class of business.
Part 2 (Intermediate) and Part 3 (Advanced) will be advertised soon!
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Discuss the need for marine cargo insurance;
- Explain the importance of Incoterms ® - internationally recognised terms of trade for the sale of goods;
- Compare and contrast the cover under various Institute Cargo Clauses (ICC).
The Zoom link will be sent to your email address supplied at the time of the booking. Due the restriction of the attendee numbers, please DO NOT share this with anyone else.
