Ø  Describe how care is funded and the key considerations that affect client outcomes.

Ø  Answer the five most common client questions about later-life care planning.

Ø  Explain the current position on the care-cost cap and its implications for advice.

Ø  Apply appropriate cashflow assumptions when modelling potential care costs.

Ø  Explain what an Immediate Needs Plan is, when it may be relevant and the associated regulatory considerations.

Speaker Biography

Clive Barwell has worked in financial services since 1971 and has been accredited by the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) since 2010. He is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and holds both Certified and Chartered status with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
