The Insurance Institute of Northern Ireland is delighted to announce the third event of their 2019/20 Premium Masterclass series (our programme of Continuous Professional Development events for members of the CII and PFS) which will focus on the following topics – Environmental Coverage and Mental Health.

Book you place today...season tickets cost £80 with individual tickets costing £25.

Both ticket types can be booked below.

Simon Harwood-Matthews & Noelene McKenna: Closing the gap: Why clients need to think about environmental coverage.

Simon has over 15 years experience working as an Environmental Impairment Liability Underwriter.

Simon designs environmental insurance programmes for businesses operating worldwide. From single-site operators to global businesses and covering a wide range of industry sectors including property owners, waste, manufacturing, chemicals and public services.

In addition, Simon places long-term environmental policies to protect buyers and sellers of brownfield land. The environmental insurance helps facilitate transactions and remove balance sheet provisions for pollution liabilities.

Noelene has over 12 years’ experience working in the environmental insurance arena. Initially managing an environmental claims team for a Loss Adjuster and more recently has joined Axa XL specialist EIL team as a Senior Underwriter.

Noelene’s background in dealing with environmental claims, including looking at the costs involved with both on and off-site remediation, dealing with the Regulator and therefore gaining an insight into their requirements has been a great foundation for her move to underwriting.
