Thursday, 21 May 2020
11:15 am – 12:00 pm (UK time)

The aim of this short session is give participants an understanding of what mental health is and its causes. We will explore the causes of mental health and how it impacts in the workplace. Participants will explore how to embrace mental health and proactively manage this.

This 45 minute session would cover the following key areas:

  • Defining what Mental Health means;
  • Understanding: Mental Health statistics;
  • Understanding common causes of poor Mental Ill Health;
  • Understanding the impact of poor Mental Health in the Workplace;
  • Identifying common stressors in the workplace;
  • Outlining 7 steps to positively embrace Mental Health

Q&A session - Given the anticipated number of participants (in excess of 100), we would propose to provide an email address for participants to submit any specific questions in advance for the webinar. We would also provide a facility for participants to submit questions during the webinar which we would cover at the end or issue follow-up responses if time did not permit all questions to be covered. We feel this would provide a more effective Q&A session for participants than trying to manage ‘live’ questions from the group size that is anticipated.
