The Insurance Institute of Stoke-on-Trent is pleased to announce the adoption of its new Constitution, providing a modern framework for how the Institute is governed and how it will continue to serve insurance and financial services professionals across the region.
The updated Constitution reinforces the Institute's commitment to supporting professional development, promoting best practice, and helping to build public trust in the insurance profession. It also sets out clear governance arrangements, council responsibilities, committee structures, and opportunities for members to become more actively involved in the running of the Institute.
The new Constitution reflects our ambition to create a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking Institute that delivers value to members while supporting the wider objectives of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join the Institute Council.
Council membership offers a fantastic opportunity to:

What Does Being a Council Member Involve?
Council members play an important role in the governance and development of the Institute and are expected to participate in regular council meetings, contribute ideas, support events and initiatives, and work collaboratively with fellow volunteers to achieve the Institute's objectives.
A range of roles and responsibilities are available, allowing volunteers to contribute according to their interests, skills, and availability.
