In this session we will be taking a look into the basics of Reinsurance.
We will look at why reinsurance is important to the insurance industry and the various forms it takes.
We will also look at some case studies that demonstrate the role re-insurance plays within the global insurance industry
This course is ideal for those new to insurance as well as those working within the industry who want further knowledge. It is also a useful course to those studying for their CertCII.
Course Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand what reinsurance is and its importance
- Recognise the different types of reinsurance
- Build your confidence in having a conversation about reinsurance
