Effective Communication in the Hybrid World

The current virtual environment of remote working and trading has only accentuated the need to develop impactful and tailored skills across different communication media if we want to succeed in the business world.

Proximate Cause & Exclusions: the Court of Appeal provides further guidance
In January 2023 the Court of Appeal delivered its judgment in the case of Brian Leighton (Garages) Ltd v Allianz Insurance Plc. The case provides further guidance as to what should be taken into account when considering scope of cover and especially proximate cause and exclusions. In this session, Jeff Heasman will examine the key aspects of the judgment and its impact on insureds and insurers.

Annual Dinner
Our Annual Dinner returns to the Grand Hotel, Brighton for 2025, to build on the success of our last sell-out event by taking advantage of this historic and prestigious sea-front setting! Guests will be able to look forward to a warm welcome with a refreshing drink, followed by a delightful selection of canapés. The main course and dessert will be served as a sit-down meal at allocated tables and this will be followed by a live band, plus other entertainment which is yet to be confirmed.
