Come along to our Spring Social!
Join your insurance and financial services colleagues for a relaxed and informal evening at One Under in Brighton.
Whether you’re winding down after work or looking to meet new local faces in the industry, this is a perfect chance to do so. Alongside a complimentary drink and a few slices of pizza, we will have exclusive use of the interactive dart boards and shuffleboard – as well as an 8-ball pool table.

- plenty of opportunity to mingle, network, and relax in a friendly, informal setting
CII and PFS members are each welcome to purchase a ticket for one guest.
Booking
To reserve your place/s for only £5 per person, please use our online booking system by clicking on the Book Now button below. Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Getting there
The venue is in a restricted parking area. The closest carpark for those driving to the event is ‘The Lanes’ Carpark on Black Lion Street. This is around 5 minutes’ walk from the venue and has 355 spaces (disabled bays on Level 1). Charges will apply on exit, so please ensure that you are familiar with these in advance. Some listed on street pay and display parking is available in Zone Z.
Public Transport:
- Brighton Train Station (0.8 miles)
- Bus stop - Sea Life Centre (Stop N/T) 2 mins
- Bus stop – Old Steine (Stop S2/S3) 5 mins
- Bus stop – Palace Pier (Stop A/B) 4 mins
These stops are serviced by multiple Brighton & Hove bus routes, including the Coaster 12, 12A, 12X, 13X, 14, 14A, 14B, 14C, N14, and 7/N7
Other Information
A cash bar will be available throughout the evening for purchasing further alcoholic or soft drinks.
Regrettably, the venue is not suitable for wheelchair users. Also nobody under the age of 18 is allowed on the premises during the evening due to licensing laws. Please state any special dietary requirements on the booking form including vegetarian and vegan and ensure that we know about these ASAP. Venue
When you submit your booking, you have made a formal agreement to attend the event. Cancellation rights do not apply. We will reserve space for you accordingly. To protect us from losses from non-attendance we will not be offering refunds for cancellations.
This booking is with the Insurance Institute of Sussex and is not transferable to other local insurance institutes. We welcome attendees from other areas but you may wish to check with your own local institute if they are running a similar event prior to booking with Sussex.
