Webinar: Flooding: Risk, Resilience and Recoveries
This webinar uses case studies to discuss factors that affect flood risk to existing properties and new developments, how flood risk can be reduced using property flood resilience (‘PFR’) measures, and how a forensic hydrologist / expert witness can assist in subrogated recoveries involving flood damage.
At the end of this session delegates will be able to identify:
- The different sources of flooding;
- Factors that affect flood risk;
- The different types of PFR, CIRIA’s Code of Practice for PFR and Flood Re’s “Build Back Better” scheme;
- How the early involvement of a forensic hydrologist / expert witness can assist with subrogated recoveries involving flood damage.
