Overview:
Active listening and non-judgemental communication are superpowers for successful leaders. This session is aimed at anyone wishing to elevate their communication skills. The aim of the session is to help attendees to understand the benefits of active listening and non-judgemental communication, and how they can both be put into practice, to
contribute to a psychologically safe and healthy workplace.
Objectives:
- Explain the principles and benefits of active listening and non-judgemental communication.
- Apply at least two active listening techniques to enhance understanding and empathy in conversations.
- Recognise barriers to effective listening and practise strategies to overcome them.
- Demonstrate how active listening contributes to psychological safety and stronger workplace relationships.
