About Us

When you become a member of the CII or PFS, you automatically join a local institute of your choice, usually close to where you live or work. 

There are currently 51 local institutes across the UK and the Insurance Institute of Chelmsford and South Essex is the sixth largest with over 3,700 members.

We are a dedicated group of industry professionals that voluntarily give up our spare time to offer a range of key benefits to CII and PFS members in the local area.

We currently provide:

• Technical and regulatory seminars, and training courses
• Career guidance, mentoring and knowledge services
• Social and networking activities
• Community engagement initiatives
• Local news and information
