The ACT One approach is based on promoting active learning, confidence building and techniques for study.  This successful strategy has primarily been devised from Alison’s experience as a CII Trainer, and Senior examiner and marker.  The Revision session will focus on exam techniques & practice questions allowing learners to build confidence to take their exam. Candidates will also have the opportunity to focus on any weak areas of the syllabus, so as to turn them into strengths.

All learners will receive a workbook to support preparation for the exam. This incorporates activities to promote active learning.

In order to be eligible for funding, the Insurance Institute of Chelmsford & South Essex will be reviewing applicant submissions based on the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be an active member of the CII with their Local Institute being the Insurance Institute of Chelmsford & South Essex
  • The applicant must not have availability of support or funding for similar training sessions from other avenues i.e. through an apprenticeship scheme from their employer or a self-funded opportunity
  • Applicants must be available for all sessions for the module training being delivered
  • Applicants must be able to evidence the support of their line manager to complete the training
