Face to Face - PFS - Investing for life in retirement

The Exeter Council are delighted to welcome Ed & Zoe for this PFS face to face training session.

Session Overview:

We have been through a number of market corrections over the last 20 years including significant market corrections in recent times .

As more and more clients move into drawdown and look to their investments to provide for life after work, we consider what are the key elements of a successful centralised retirement proposition, reconsider the main investment risks associated with decumulation and explore how different investment approaches might mitigate these.

Ed Walker
I specialise in working with financial advisers, law firms and accountants providing ideas and exceptional service to help grow and develop their businesses through regulatory updates and sharing of best practice.

Background/Experience

I have over 13 years’ experience within financial services, always working with financial intermediaries.

Zoe Howard
As a business development manager my role is to help and support financial advisers in delivering solutions that help their clients' achieve their goals and objectives. By understanding the client’s needs I can help bring the right team together in order to deliver the necessary investment solutions to help achieve positive outcomes. I specialise in working with financial advisers providing ideas and services to help grow and develop their businesses through regulatory updates and sharing of best practice.

Background/Experience

I have 10 years of experience within the financial services industry. My main focus has been on providing funds and solutions to financial advisers.

Ed Walker and Zoë Howard work in the Business Development team at Investec. As a Business Development Director Ed’s role is develop professional intermediaries’ investment propositions to deliver positive outcomes for their clients, through carefully selected wealth and banking solutions that can be tailored to meet the individual client’s requirements.

Ed & Zoë work together to build lasting relationships with financial advisers across the South West of England and South Wales.
