PFS & CII Webinar- Navigating Difficult Conversations with Confidence

Wednesday 14 April, 9:30 am - 10:30 am
Paul Stubbington, Co-Founder, Hygge Associates
CPD

Session Overview:

No one enjoys having difficult conversations -whether that's with an employee, a colleague, or a client - but they're an unavoidable part of the workplace and managing or working with others.

This webinar provides practical, transferable tools to help you plan and approach these conversations with greater confidence and clarity.

We'll explore how to manage the emotional impact on yourself, reduce conflict, improve outcomes, and communicate in a way that feels both professional and human.

Learning objectives

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Recognise what makes certain conversations difficult and understand the
emotional and situational factors at play
  • Use simple, structured communication tools to guide challenging discussions
  • De-escalate tension and stay grounded when conversations become heated or emotionally charged
  • Plan for and navigate both client and colleague conversations with greater confidence, clarity, and professionalism
