Exeter local institute offers valuable careers advice to local students
15 February 2021On the 28th of January , UWE .CII and the Insurance Institutes of Bristol and Exeter met with the first cohort of the exciting NEW MSc Risk Management & Insurance. This programme has been developed by UWE, CII, employers and industry experts.
Bristol Institute Deputy President Louise Nicholls and Exeter President Claire Lashbrook met with the students, welcoming them to the institutes and sharing their career journeys.

The students raised excellent questions around qualifications, recognition of prior learning, career progression, day to day work in Underwriting and Risk Management.

Calling Out For Volunteers – inspire the next generation of diverse insurance professionals
The Chartered Insurance Institute (“CII”) runs a fantastic series of in person (when possible) and virtual student outreach to attach talent to the industry. So that the CII have a diverse set of relevant professionals tailored for their calendar of events, the Inclusion@Lloyd’s Partner Networks have joined forces to create a pool of diverse volunteers that the CII can call on.
