2021 Charity Golf Day

Calling all golfers!

Guildford Insurance Institute Charity Golf Day at Puttenham Golf Club, a beautiful parkland course situated in the Surrey Hills!

Enter as a team of 4, or individually - open to all CII members and their guests.

On Tuesday 7th September 2021 our charity golf day will be held at the prestigious Puttenham Golf Club, close to Guildford and just off the Hogs Back.

The day includes coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, 18 holes of golf (shot gun start), and a two course evening meal, followed by a charity auction and raffle.

This year we are supporting two charities:

The Jigsaw Trust; a brilliant charity based in Dunsfold Park nr Guildford. Set up in 1999 by a group of parents of children with autism, they raised enough funds to set up the Jigsaw CABAS school for 6 children. Today they have provision for 68 pupils aged 4-19 and also operate a 'cafe on the park', offering a unique environment where older learners with autism can undertake work experience, helping them to function more independently and take part in all aspects of community life.

The British Heart Foundation, the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research in the UK; and their live saving research is powered by voluntary funds and donations.

Time: Arrive at 11.30 am for bacon butties and registration

Tee Time: “Shot Gun Start” will commence at 1.00 pm

Where: Puttenham Golf Club, Puttenham Village, Nr Guildford, Surrey. GU3 1AL.

Cost: £65 per person or £260 for a team of 4

Did you know that the Guildford Insurance Institute runs a vibrant golf society? We offer a variety of events at superb clubs in the local area. The society is open to all that work in the insurance industry for just a small subscription of £20 per year. If you wish to join our golf society, please contact Ralph Horne on 07948 185713.
