Speakers
Geoff Piggot, Gen Re
Geoff joined Royal Insurance as a graduate trainee in 1985, and worked around the UK in Cambridge, Peterborough, Manchester and Hertford. Geoff's final role with RSA was as a Regional Technical Claims Manager. He joined Gen Re in January 1998 and works out of the London Office. He is a Senior Vice President and Global Claims Manager. Geoff is also responsible for the management of all Gen Re's P&C claims.
Damian Glynn, vrs Vericlaim UK Ltd
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1986, Damian had experience of forensic, insolvency, general audit and special investigation work prior to entering the loss adjusting profession in 1993. Since then he has dealt exclusively with large and/or complex financial losses, representing both policyholders and insurers, and acting as an expert in commercial disputes. Damian chairs the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) Business Interruption group, and has previously set business interruption examinations for the CILA. He regularly runs financial loss seminars throughout the UK and is a published author on the subject of business interruption, including co-chairing a widely read reporton BI wordings issued by CILA and the IIL/CII (Chartered Insurance Institute). Damian is currently Head of Financial Risks at vrs Vericlaim UK Ltd.
Jason Denton, Vacant Property Specialists
Jason is a Business Development Manager for Vacant Property Specialists –a specialist firmin securing, maintaining andmanaging vacant properties. Prior to his current role, Jason has previously worked for Allianz Engineering, Zurich Risk Services and Eagle Star Engineering.
