President's Message

Welcome To the Insurance Institute of Manchester

2024/25 will be our 151st year as an institute. It really is an honour and a privilege to be President.

We are very fortunate that the Insurance Institute of Manchester has such diverse and enthusiastic volunteers who make up our Council and Committees. This allows us to stay relevant to our members whilst keeping some of our traditions which have made the institute so successful.

As a Mancunian who “fell” into insurance after leaving school I could never have imagined the opportunities and experience this industry had for me. I feel very proud to be part of the Manchester market and encourage anybody leaving school, college or university to consider a career in insurance.
