Annual Dinner 2017

Stephen Bridge ACII, President, is delighted to announce that our Annual Dinner will take place on Friday 10th November at the Principal Hotel, Manchester, with Zurich as our main sponsor.

The evening will include a three course dinner and plenty of laughs with comedian Lucy Porter. Following the dinner, join us upstairs in the Whitworth bar, for after dinner entertainment with Gary Jenkins!

Programme
• 6.00 - 7.00pm: Drinks reception
• 7.00 - 10.00pm: Dinner and speeches
• 10.00pm onwards: Live music and entertainment

Menu
Starter
Rillette of duck terrine served with roasted pistachios, confit oranges and a mescaline salad
Beetroot carpaccio served with aged goats cheese in a beetroot syrup with micro herbs (V)

Main
Twenty-four-hour slow cooked Angus beef, smoked mash potato, maple cured pancetta, air-dried tomatoes and winter greens served in a red wine jus
Handmade gnocchi, wild mushroom and Lancashire blue cheese sauce, wilted baby spinach (V)

Dessert
Dark Chocolate and Orange Torte served with nut brittle

Drinks order form: when your tickets and table number are confirmed by the institute, you will then be able to return your Drinks Order Form directly to hotel to catherine.lawson@theprincipalhotel.com. The hotel asks that all forms be returned by Friday 27th October to ensure that your drinks will be on your table ready for your arrival.

Parking: The hotel does not have its own car park; however there is a secure Euro Car Park located on Pritchard Street, available for approximately £8.50 per 24 hours. The postcode is M1 7DA.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Bookings will close on Monday 30th October
• The easiest way to enter the hotel for the dinner is using the courtyard entrance on Whitworth Street and taking the door on the left (download map below)
• The cloakroom is located at the entrance to the Whitworth suites
• The pre and post dinner bar will be in the Whitworth Suites, above the Ballroom
• The public bar will also be open in the hotel, next to The Refuge restaurant
• The VIP reception is in Whitworth no.3
• Dress code: black tie and evening dress
