Title: Marketing

Time: Lecture 2:30pm-4:30pm

Speaker: Howard Robsinson

This course provides an overview of how to prepare and launch a marketing and social media strategy. Students are taken through a process of product development, competitor research and creating differentiation. They then decide the best way to get their messages out to their target market. The session is interactive and encourages students to develop and deploy their own ideas under the guidance of the course leader.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, delegates will be able to:
- be creative and developing ideas
- understand the importance of business competitors
- create points of difference and unique selling points
- define target markets
- choose the right communication channels

Speaker Biography
Howard has over 20 years business to business marketing experience and the last 10 years have been spent in the insurance industry. He owns and manages Smart Cookies, a marketing agency that works exclusively with organisations in the insurance industry. Howard specialises in helping brokers become more marketing focused.
