MCA Lecture: Motor Insurance Update - Uninsured Claims

This talk will consider recent UK and European decisions in the field of motor insurance, with a focus on uninsured claims and the consequences for motor insurers and the MIB.

Those attending will be given a background as to the pertinent provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1988, the obligations of the MIB and statutory insurers, the relevant European Directives, the areas of contention, and the many recent developments in this field.
