CPD Afternoon and Networking Drinks: 2022 Looking to the Future

The institute are excited for the relaunch of face to face events with this two speaker conference followed by an evening of networking drinks (covid guidelines willing).

On the day we will hear from Eleanor Moore, the President of the Manchester Insurance Institute, who will welcome back members and also introduce the President's Charity for the year. Our guest speakers, Lior Koskas (CEO Digilog UK Ltd), will discuss his company’s expertise of voice analytic technology and Marie Emerson (Associate Forensic Engineer at Hawkins Ltd), our relationship with Robots.

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

  • Articulate and have an awareness of the Presidents chosen charity for the year alongside understanding the work and impact done by the Insurance Charities.

  • Understand how voice analytic technology has developed and its current and future use.

  • Experience and recall case examples where the technology is used outside of an Insurance setting and be able to translate its capabilities for our industry.

  • Understand the definition of Robots and their capabilities and future applications.

  • Recognise potential risks and be able to identify examples of incidents that have occurred through Robotics

Lior Koskas, CEO Digilog UK Ltd

Spent 20 years in the military, security and private sector (Insurance and Financial Services). Lior has been involved in a wide range of international and high-profile assignments including fraud and criminal cases involving the security services in the UK and the US.

Marie Emerson, Associate Forensic Engineer at Hawkins Ltd
