Webinar: Cert CII IF1 Insurance, legal and regulatory revision – two half day study sessions

Phil Peers will be leading two half day study sessions on Cert CII IF1 Insurance, legal and regulatory.

Phil has worked in the insurance industry for over 35 years. Having worked for a large international insurer in a range of senior management roles he formed a specialist training company The Insurance Training Partnership in 2003. His specific objective is to help people within the insurance industry achieve professional qualifications as easily as possible.

He is one of our leading trainers specialising in developing and delivering general insurance and qualifications training for brokers.

ITP work in every part of the UK and Republic of Ireland providing Certificate, Diploma and ACII training to approximately 600 people every year with pass rates of 98%

The IF1 revision sessions will be interactive giving a deep insight which parts of the syllabus need to be revised and how to prepare for the examination.

The workshops will be informative and hopefully you will find them entertaining!

Session 1 - 2nd October 09:00-12:30

In the first session you will review the contents of the IF1 workbook to make sure you understand the basic principles of insurance, including the main regulatory principles related to business and the key elements to protect consumers.

Session 2 - 9th October 09:00-12:30

In the second session you will go through exam questions to prepare you for the type of questions you will come across and learn how to best approach these.

The learning objectives of the two sessions are the following:

  • Understand the nature and features of risk and how risk management is applied
  • Know the insurance market structure
  • Understand the basic insurance principles and how they are applied
  • Understand the main regulatory and legal requirements
  • Understand consumer protection and the main methods of preventing, handling and resolving complaints
