President's Reception and Award Ceremony for NDII Council members, invited guests and prize-winners only.

As president, I will introduce myself, and explain my objectives for the coming year. Then we will conduct the awards ceremony to our well deserved prize-winners and enjoy a nice meal.

Award

Criteria

John C Williams Salver Award plus £400 prize presented to the member who completes their Fellowship in the previous year, who in the opinion of the Council demonstrates him/herself to be an outstanding practitioner.

Peter Griffiths Cup plus £250 prize presented to the member who most meritoriously completes the Advanced Diploma in Insurance.

Bruce Meadows Decanter plus £125 prize pesented to the member who most meritoriously completes the Diploma in Insurance.

£125 prize presented to the member who most meritoriously completes the Certificate in Insurance.

The Sheikh Bowl plus £125 prize presented to the member who most meritoriously completes the Diploma in Financial Planning.

The North Downs Insurance Institute held their annual prizegiving and Presidents Reception event on Thursday 10 November.  

All of the meritorious prizewinners and partners were invited to join Council members in a celebration of their achievements. 

The evening started with an indoor wine tasting tour was held at Denbies Wine Estate, which is right at the heart of the North Downs.  Denbies is one of the largest wine producers in the UK.  The tour provided a fascinating insight into the workings of the vineyard and English wine production.    

This was followed by a drinks reception and buffet at the local Burford Bridge Hotel.  

Paul Tunnell, President, gave a short presentation as to what the awards were for,  promoted the work done by the existing Council members, with an added recruitment drive, and then, assisted by his wife presented the following awards:
