Celebrating Success: Recognising Qualification Achievement Across Our Membership

The event provided an opportunity to pause, reflect and celebrate what has been an outstanding year of professional development across our membership. In total, an incredible 136 members achieved qualification success with the CII and PFS last year. A milestone that highlights the commitment, determination and professionalism of those working across insurance and financial services in our region.

The evening itself was a vibrant mix of celebration and networking, bringing members together to share experiences, success stories and practical insights. Throughout the evening, conversations covered everything from examination journeys and study techniques to overcoming challenges and balancing professional development alongside work and personal commitments.

It was particularly inspiring to hear members openly discussing what their qualification achievements have enabled them to do next, whether progressing into new roles, taking on greater responsibility, or gaining increased confidence and credibility within their organisations.

One of the most encouraging themes from the evening was the diversity of learning pathways represented. Members spoke about their achievements through apprenticeships, self‑study, and structured development programmes, reinforcing that there is no single route to success, only commitment and ambition.

Many shared how gaining professional qualifications had directly supported career progression, opened new opportunities, and strengthened their technical knowledge and professional standing. These stories powerfully demonstrated the long‑term value of professional education and the role it plays in shaping sustainable careers within insurance and financial services.

Events like Celebrating Success would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of those behind the scenes. A huge thank you goes to Hannah Reynolds and Alycia Thomson for organising such a successful event, ensuring every detail helped make the evening both enjoyable and meaningful. We are also grateful to our Council members for their ongoing support and commitment to championing our members and their achievements.

As we reflect on the success of the evening, we are incredibly proud of all our members who achieved qualifications during 2025. Your dedication to professional development not only strengthens your own careers but also raises standards across our profession as a whole.
