Whiplash – Hit or Miss?
The Insurance Institute of Perth & Dundee recently ran a panel discussion that focussed on the subject of whiplash. Whiplash is a neck injury caused by a sudden movement of the head and is the most common injury associated with road accidents. The increasing frequency and cost of whiplash claims is making insurers nervous and some are arguing that it is better to pay for the medical treatment of the condition rather than paying compensation.
