President's Message

Welcome to The Insurance Institute of Plymouth and Cornwall
For those who don’t know me, I’m Dylan Jarvis, a Marine Trades Underwriter for Everard Insurance in Plymouth, and I’m incredibly proud to be stepping into the role of President for the first time.
We represent around 1,000 members across Plymouth and Cornwall, split almost evenly between our CII and PFS communities — and it’s a real privilege to be part of such a strong and engaged local institute.
Serving on Council is entirely voluntary, and I won’t pretend it’s always easy — but it is genuinely rewarding. I’d really encourage you to come and have a chat with me or anyone on Council. You’d be very welcome to join us at a meeting and see what it’s all about.
