Funded ACII training

FREE ACII TRAINING
We are delighted to offer local members free ACII training starting in October 2026 with funding received from the Worshipful Company of Insurers. This initiative is the first of its kind at ACII level across the UK and will allow members of participating institutes from across the UK to benefit from 100% funded study support.
This programme offers members the opportunity to benefit from a FREE invaluable study course specifically designed to assist students in achieving qualifications through structured group learning. Funding of five subjects is available to each member accepted onto the course. Applications are welcome from members who have already passed one or more subjects and are now ready to complete ACII. Funds will be allocated until they are exhausted.
The training will be delivered by Adrian Toomey (Intuition Training). The first 2 modules are available for sign up now, with the next modules beginning in early 2027. Contact Adrian for more information and an application form (adrian.toomey@intuitiontraining.co.uk)

As part of the funding support, we encourage learners to agree to take on an ambassadorial role in their workplace for the Insurance Institute of Plymouth & Cornwall – sharing details of CPD initiatives with colleagues, endorsing the benefits of programmes such as this, our networking, CPD and social events, for example through sharing emails with colleagues and through posts/tagging on Linked In.
Supporting this initiative:
The Worshipful Company of Insurers have provided the funding to allow your institute to provide this training. the WCI is a Livery Company (trade association) promoting excellence in insurance and maintaining the ancient traditions of philanthropy and support of the Mayoralty and the City of London.
It brings together two key elements of the City of London: insurance, which is now the largest employer within the City, and the City Civic, in which Livery Companies have taken an active part for centuries. The Insurers Company gives insurance professionals the opportunity to meet, network and socialise, both formally and informally, with fellow professionals. Members of the Livery also have the opportunity to contribute to the profession and wider community through educational activities, participation in City life and tradition, and by supporting a wide range of charitable causes.
The Company’s Charitable Trust finances the Programme. The Trust is primarily concerned with the furtherance of education within the insurance industry, mentoring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and making grants to a variety of charities, including those supporting ex-offenders and promoting social welfare in the poorest boroughs of London.
What do you need to do next?
1) Check your eligibility and availability per above, including checking with your employer.
