Join us for a breakfast roll and a beverage at the Mercure Hotel in Telford for a morning lecture from Graeme Chaplin, agent of the Bank of England, for a lecture and discussion on the UK's economic outlook, following the Autumn budget. 9am arrival for a 9:30am start, to be finished by 11am.

New CII guidance sets benchmark for managing vulnerability across insurance and personal finance

At a press event in central London this morning, the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) announced the launch of a landmark guide to help insurance and personal finance firms to better identify, support, and deliver fair outcomes for customers in vulnerable circumstances.

President's Message

I am thrilled to take on the role of President for 2024/25. I would like to thank Robin Melley for his efforts over the past 12 months, which culminated with a fantastic Presidents Dinner at the Lion Quays. Our council has grown in numbers over the past 2 years, and I hope to expand it further through social events during the year.

Our CPD events are always well attended, despite being one of the smallest institutes, and I endeavour to continue to ensure these are available for our members. Our members achieve fantastic exam success and I aim to celebrate these at our Presidents dinner in February 2025.
