Corporate Protection Half Day Conference, Friday 18th October 2019, Zurich Centre, Whiteley
The Personal Finance Society Hants and Dorset Regional Committee in association with the Insurance Institutes of Bournemouth and Southampton have organised a half day Corporate Protection and Marketing Conference for our members.
As members should be aware, advisers who sell protection are required to complete 15 hours of focused CPD each year.
The Conference will cover the following:
1) The Corporate Protection Market - the products (e.g. shareholder protection, key man insurance, group life etc) and the tax status/advantages for SMEs, limited companies and partnerships and the business & marketing opportunities they can generate for the adviser.
2) Shareholders’ agreements and partnership agreements for businesses – what they are, the benefits of having one and how working with a corporate lawyer can enhance and or establish a professional relationship with a law firm, but also open the doors to the SME/corporate market.
3) Group Private Medical Insurance - the product and benefits (tax and otherwise) for a business.
4) Relevant Life Plans, the tax advantageous and straightforward way of providing valuable life cover for your limited company clients, directors and employees.
The speakers include Stuart Halliwell from Legal & General, Karen Edwards Corporate Lawyer from Frettens Solicitors and Mark Frost from Vitality Health.
The Conference will provide 4 hours 45 minutes of focused CPD time.
The venue is the Zurich Auditorium, the Zurich Centre, 3000 Parkway, Whiteley, Fareham, Hampshire, PO15 7JZ.
Parking is limited and delegates will be notified in advance of the parking arrangements.
The date of the Conference is Friday October 18th, 0915 registration for a 0945 start and the Conference will end at 1530.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Attendance at the event will be restricted to 100 delegates and booking is on a first come first served basis.
This event is arranged and funded by the PFS Hants and Dorset Regional Committee.
To help cover the cost of the event, PFS members will be charged £20 and non PFS members £25.
